Although there are many colorful characters in the rap game, Towkio easily takes a title as not only very colorful but creative. Towkio brings his electric sound and enterprising persona to this track. He is an experimental rapper announcing a new EP today, and sparked interests by dropping single, “Tear Drop.”
The EP, Community Service 2, release is scheduled for July 7th and will contain appearances from the maturing Vic Mensa and mastermind Joey Purp, with production from Smoko Ono, Mr. Carmack and more. Towkio does just what the title of his EP suggests, spitting vivid, piercing bars about his city and community before broadening out to a world view for a big finish.
